The Committee on the Judiciary moved to amend the bill by striking out the title and substituting therefor a new title, to read as follows:

Eng. House Bill 3166— A Bill to amend and reenact §27-5-2a of the Code of West Virginia, 1931, as amended, relating to clarifying that an authorized hospital staff physician may order the involuntary hospitalization of an emergency room patient or in-hospital patient for up to 72 hours if judicial officers are unavailable.
